the history of this world has not yet been written ...

Something I think we all need to remember is that the history of this world has not yet been written.

History has been written up until today, but no matter what we have learned or what we think we know, or what we actually DO know, we do NOT know how things will turn out.

What happens will surprise you, frustrate you, mystify you, fool you, delight you ... and bite you.

TRUTH is: Things will turn out as a result of what you and I do today.

There is so much we can do:

- we can watch television and stuff ourselves with food
- we can not worry and just be happy - oblivious to what happens around us
- we can love each other, listen to each other, do our best to understand each other
- we can ignore each other, abuse each other, argue with each other, threaten each other
- we can make ourselves miserable, feel victimized, be victim, live in fear
- we can help a friend, or help anyone we see needs help, for no reason other than "I can"
- we can neglect ourselves and be as obnoxious as possible
- we can take care of ourselves, provide for our own, and set an example for others
- we can take advantage of others and accumulate as much as possible
- we can give things and time away for no other reason than someone else is in need
- we can accept lies and regurgitate them without ever seeking truth
- we can seek truth, hope to find truth, come ever closer to truth while learning all we can
- we can remain in apathy and ignorance
- we can speak when words are necessary to educate others and to dispel untruths
- we can be silent when words cause friction and unnecessary harm
- we can drain energy from others as a "social vampire"
- we can energize an entire community with our own joy and purpose
- we can add wealth to community with our ability, knowledge and learned skills
- we can drain wealth from our community by being self-centered and dependent
- we can bake, make, or ache
- we can consume, presume, or resume
- we can rhyme or make no sense at all
- we can be friend
- we can be enemy
- we can make choices, and we can be frigid and rigid
- we can choose to act, decline to participate, fail to act

We can do any and all of those things and more, every minute or only on special days. We can do them at regular intervals or randomly. We can do them with purpose or as habit. We can expect results from doing those things, or do them to keep ourselves from being bored. We can do so many things, including doing nothing at all.

Never be fooled that your own inaction puts any responsibility on anyone else to advise you, prompt you, scold you or warn you. Be prepared for surprise at how your responsible action prompts someone to advise you, fool you, or scold or warn you - no one is required to reward you in the way you think you deserve.

Things will "turn out" as result of what all of us, each of us, on this planet do, or do not do - so do not be frustrated if things do not turn out the way you hope, the way you want them to turn out. Keep in mind that there is always another sunrise, always another new day, always another possibility of things turning out different than yesterday, so remember ...

The history of this world has not yet been written yet.
